I was then invited to move back to my college town of Brookings, South Dakota to be their middle school band director. At present my practice of teaching music involves inspiring other singers to want to sing along during Zoom meetings, or giving them the tools to make a good audio recording for a virtual choir. Recently I made slideshows of the music score synchronized with the audio track for their voice part. I took responsibility for my own learning, and shared my tools with others.
