Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.
lessons are available in the following areas:
Instruments: Piano, Violin, Viola
Each lesson varies according to the needs and level of the student. A typical lesson would start out with some kind of technique exercise, scales, and arpeggios. Then we would move on to some kind of musical piece. The song will be learned in its correct form with all proper notes, rhythms, dynamics and tempo markings. Musicality and terminology will also be discussed. Singing will also be implemented at any point during the lesson with regards to intonation, phrasing, or musical gesture. Read More

I teach violin under the traditional method. If the student is a beginner and a younger child, I use the Suzuki method as well, although I am not officially trained. For students who are already in an instrumental program through school, I will start with whatever method book they are using at school, and branch off from there. The etudes may be classical in nature or more modern music. For older students, I will help them prepare Solo and Ensemble pieces as well. Read More
