I am a creative and enthusiastic violinist based in the Northwest Indiana region. I graduated with a degree in music with an emphasis in performance in 2018 from Butler University. During my undergraduate career, I was principal 2nd violinist with the Butler Symphony and performed two solo recitals. Additionally, I performed with the Butler Ballet and Opera Orchestras, as well as with local symphonies (Hendricks Symphony and Danville Symphony). I have extensive orchestral experience including The Bolshoi Theater, Moscow central Philharmonic Orchestra, Russian Philharmonic, and San Luis Potosi symphony orchestra. I lived and taught in Mexico for 4 years while playing as assistant principal second violin at San Luis Potosi symphony orchestra in Mexico. Currently I play with many symphony orchestras in Indiana, Nebraska and Texas on a permanent basis. I teach privately and enjoy having students with different levels from all over the world. Part of my lesson times include teaching how to practice. However, I will always find a way to make the most out of an opportunity with a student. I'd rather spend time helping them learn how to express themselves with freedom and skill. When learning a specific task or skill, I use modeling in my teaching style. I will give examples the student examples they can imitate; however, I firmly believe that students should not just imitate but they should bring their own light to their music! Read More
