Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I use a variety of methods and techniques. I have training in the Suzuki Method, as well as more traditional methods of violin instruction. In my lessons knowing scales and arpeggios will be important. I also teach about keys and time signatures early on. Though I use the suzuki method, some of the time, reading music is also taught early on in the lessons, depending on the age of the student. Read More

I try to introduce my students to different styles and genres of music. Their repertoire ranges from dances and songs to variations, concertos and sonatas. In order to be able to play such an array of genres, one requires what I like to call a "laboratory of skills".
