For beginner-intermediate violin/viola students I find this to be very effective, and would supplement this with a variety of technique exercises as well as something of personal interest to each student (folk style, pop, etc). I started teaching privately in highschool (2005). Since then, I continued teaching independent students as well as groups of musicians. I enjoy working with students of all ages and skill levels in the advancement of their techniques. I have taught students as young as 3 to the age of 75.
