I have played violin since I was in 3rd grade. I got a cello and played that in middle school, as well as violin. In 8th grade, I auditioned for and joined the high school orchestra. I was also a member of the Gulf Coast Youth Orchestra. My name is Wes and I am a violin and viola teacher who is passionate about playing, working with students, and sharing my own passion for music with other people. I started playing the violin in 2006 and started taking lessons with a talented member of the Sarasota Orchestra. In 2008, I became the Concertmaster of the Chamber Strings Orchestra, a part of the Sarasota Youth Orchestra Program.
