My emphasis is on performance and motivating the student. I set goals for performance at the early stages of study whether it's for family and friends or at an open mic or in church. Without performance as a goal it's hard to motivate the student to practice. I analyze each student's individual learning style whether it's visual or auditory and find ways to help them learn faster and securely. I began giving lessons in my 2nd semester in college. I have been able to meet people from all walks of life and given lessons to students from ages 3 to 68. I read a great amount of classical literature and study allot of history; I say this to acknowledge the fact that I don't only teach proficiency in the music discipline. I'm a classically trained violinist, violist and pianist. I received my Bachelors degree and Masters Degree in Music from Florida International University's School of Music. I currently perform and teach around the Greater Miami area, and have had the opportunity to share my music all the way to Israel, Ireland, and Cuba.
