While they are learning from that certain method I do encourage students to tell me what songs they enjoy listening to and we will choose easy versions of the song that keeps them motivated and excited. I am extremely passionate about music and playing my instrument. I received my BA in Viola Performance in 2018 and have been an incredibly active performer and teacher since then. In 2019 I had the pleasure of playing in three different orchestras in Europe and also performed in an intensive summer music festival in Prague, playing in such venues as the Estates Theater and the Rudolfinum, home of the Czech Philharmonic. I mainly use Suzuki method books, but am willing to work with students if they are already working on one or will assign a different method book for absolute beginners to music. I also incorporate a number of my own scale and etude exercises which are introduced early on, for both children and adults.
