I began teaching private cello and guitar lessons in 2009. Over time, I have branched out to teach piano and bass guitar. I have experience working with students one-on-one or in groups. I keep the lesson fun and engaging, while still focusing on important concepts. I focus on technique with a light mixture of music theory. I feel it is important for us to have fun while learning. I've been teaching woodwinds and strings for about 8 years now, to students of all ages and abilities. In that time, I've worked with students making their very first sounds, all the way to helping my students successfully audition for university music programs (often receiving scholarship!).
