My teaching style can be described as a fusion of both musical growth and personal growth. In the first few lessons, it is a priority of mine to understand a student's interests, personal goals (within music and outside of music), and how music fits in with the other priorities of their lives. I carefully look at what needs most attention on each student, and come up with the best approach that I could think of based on my knowledge and experience as a violinist and teacher, so the student can overcome the difficulty in the most efficient manner. I think its important to figure out how the student learns best and tailor my teaching style to the individual. Read More
