My teaching philosophy revolved around the idea that music should be fun and engaging. While many teachers start their students off by learning how to read music, I like to begin with actually playing and familiarizing yourself with the instrument and later translating that information to written music notation. I graduated from UNC Asheville in 2012 with a degree in Violin Performance, where I developed a special passion for chamber music. I currently perform with the Charlotte Civic Orchestra, where I have sat in as Concertmaster occasionally.
