I have played the violin and piano since I was 4 years old and have spent 20 years in the State Professional Music School and Conservatory in Poland. After I graduated I was violin soloist at the Grand Opera House in Lodz, Poland. I have performed at the New Paris Opera House, the Heillbron Grand Opera, and the Messyna Opera House and many more. It is incredibly rewarding to see students developing both a love for and skills in music. Modeling effective practice techniques is high priority during lesson time so that students can make progress at their own pace outside of lesson time as well as in lesson time. To this end, I also provide students with a list of goals and reminders to aid practice between lessons. My love of music grew as a child having a family supportive of music education. I see the participation in playing musical instruments as much of a fun activity as it is a physical and mental workout. After receiving my Associate in Science in Music I went straight into a studio and started teaching a range of students from 4 - 24 years old, and from the never-picked-up-an-instrument-before to I-can't-wait-for-the-competition levels. I have a BA from St. Mary's College and have taught college level courses at Winston-Salem State University, Salem College and NC School of the Arts Community Program.
