Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I taught my first music lesson in 7th grade to another trombone student in the band on how to play a part, after my band director was overwhelmed with other parts and HERE IT BEGAN. I have traveled across the country and worked in communities, providing affordable music lessons and community inspiration for all types of peoples. Everybody develops at their own pace. This makes the journaling process even more important. I ask to keep track ofwhat you worked on, how it felt, how much time you spent on each subject, questions or interests it brought up, and goals you wish to strive for. This is a routine that I've found very helpfull for musicians of all ages and expeience levels. I have been teaching since high school when I was the only trumpet in our high school band and the younger middle school families wanted to get their child lessons but didn't have the money or be able to get them to a music school to help them, so I would teach them after school. Being an independent artist myself and having to wear many different hats, I understand the importance of curiosity and versatility. I approach every student differently as each student is a different person with a different background who holds their own unique interests and mode of learning. I don't see any reason why a student shouldn't be refining their songwriting chops while also brushing up on classical piano skills or why a jazz trumpet student shouldn't feel empowered to learn the art of recording and producing. I have taught private music lessons, since I was at Youngstown State University. I also assisted marching band camps over the summer time, at various high schools. I continue teaching private music lessons, to this day at my current job and online. I have recently taught, clarinet, piano, saxophone, violin, trumpet, trombone, as well as music recording online and in person.
