My teaching experience started during my Undergraduate studies in Purchase, New York. I had the opportunity to travel to a local elementary school and perform a chamber music masterclass for all of the brass players with several other brass students from the conservatory. We created workshops for young brass students to actively participate in and answered questions along the way. This experience is what initially opened my eyes to the beauty of teaching music. I have taught private music lessons, since I was at Youngstown State University. I also assisted marching band camps over the summer time, at various high schools. I continue teaching private music lessons, to this day at my current job and online. I have recently taught, clarinet, piano, saxophone, violin, trumpet, trombone, as well as music recording online and in person. I am a songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer with a lifelong passion for learning. This Spring, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornish College of the Arts with my BM in Music Composition and Performance. While at school, I performed with several Jazz ensembles, Chamber Ensemble, Creative Ensemble, Latin Ensemble, African Drumming, Gamelan, and Guitar Ensemble.
