Due to lessons being customized for each student various method materials will be used including: method books, theory books, performance books, and my own materials that are created to fit the students' needs. After a level assessment during the first lesson music, including books, practice materials, and solos will be chosen to meet that level and be age appropriate. Watching my students succeed brings me a great sense of satisfaction knowing that they are becoming more confident in their skills. I have been consistently involved with teacher music since my graduation from high school in 2007. In the Fort Wayne, IN area, I have worked with marching, jazz, and concert bands with multiple middle and high schools. I also have experience teaching smaller ensembles and private lessons.
