I'm a passionate musician who likes sharing his love of music with others. I'm currently completing coursework for my Doctorate in Music at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. For the newest of players who may also be children, I usually begin teaching out of The Yamaha Advantage series for beginners. Once the student has demonstrated a strong understanding of the fundamentals of brass playing, I will begin introducing them to different solos, scales, and other repertoire in the hopes that they may want to perform in competition or recital. Following high school, I spent six years scooping up opportunities, training, and degrees in music education. Another trip to Bangladesh opened my ears to the delightful and rich musical experiences of other, divergent cultures.
