Students regularly give feedback on the music they are making, as well as any new ways they think I might be helpful to them. I am a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2014, I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelors of Music Education. Performing all over the country has been one of the greater music experiences of my life as a musician. Although my primary instrument is on euphonium, I am also very skilled on trombone, tuba, trumpet and saxophone. I start all beginning brass players in the Tradition of Excellence method (Kjos Music) as well as individually designed drills and warm-ups. Intermediate students progress to the Rubank Intermediate Method as well as the beginning of the Arbans Method and grade 1 -3 solos. Depending on the individual, advanced students move on to grades 4-6 solos and method books that are specific to their instrument.
