My #1 passion is teaching music. I'm currently the band teacher at Cary Christian School. I've been playing trombone professional for almost 20 years, my most recent gigs were playing for Princess Cruises full time, and been teaching for 20 years. My passion for playing isn't what it used to be, so I'm focusing my musical efforts on teaching. I have established an exceptional playing career spanning from Middle and High School, having won chairs in multiple All-District honor bands, to performing with numerous ensembles spanning genres such as classical, jazz, and funk. Currently, I actively perform with the Greensboro Concert Band, Tobacco Road Trombones, and the Kings of Swing Jazz Orchestra.
