I have created my own method of teaching which I have perfected over the years. I create my own exercises and practice materials based on the level and interests of each individual student. I use the software program "Finale" in order to create the musical compositions that I prepare for my students. I always accompany my students on the piano. Performing and writing music are still my favorite parts of life and I enjoy sharing these experiences with all types of musicians. I recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Although I did not choose to major in music I was still able to perform in dozens of concerts during my time at college. I believe that every student is unique and deserves a unique approach from myself as a teacher, so I do not stick to regimented lesson plans. I work each week to plan out how best to convey the information needed, but if things need to change in the lesson, I adapt to provide what is needed for the student to still grow.
