My experience as a teacher covers teaching guitar to beginners and intermediate level children and adults. As a private teacher, I usually go to the student's preferred location to teach. Here in America, I also worked as a teacher's aide at Sterling Elementary School in Tooele-UT. This experience gave me even more ease in teaching children, who naturally need a very attentive and patient approach. I play 3 different instruments. I originally started out on the flute. I played the flute during high shool and college. I studied under Karen , and Leslie Timmons. While I was at college, I became interested in Music Therapy. As part of the curriculum for Music Therapy, I also studied guitar and piano. I've always believed that learning comes 50% from the teacher, and 50% from the student. I do teach through lesson books but I've always found that they're better used as a guide rather than the focus of every lesson. I like to give the students the freedom to learn what they want to learn. I've always been willing to go the extra mile for my students, not just show up every week and continue from page 20 to see how far we get in the lesson book. Read More

I started playing guitar as a kid in around 1996 and started playing live with bands in 1998. Since then I have had the privilege of playing.touring and doing session work. I started teaching at Encore music in Port Richey Florida in 1999 and since have done lessons on and off in varies formats. I have played in many bands over the years and have taught hundreds of students. I am always learning and growing as a musician and I really enjoy sharing my passion and skills with others.
