I base my teaching out of the Schroeder Violoncello Methods for all ages along with the Schroeder 170 cello studes. Along with that I pick pieces that the student will find enjoyable as a means to keep them encouraged. I began teaching private cello lessons to beginner musicians at the age of fourteen. By the time I was eighteen, I was teaching intermediate-level musicians. I took a break from private teaching once I graduated from high school. This was so I could begin my job as an assistant marching band technician. At this job, I taught small groups the fundamentals of marching. In addition, I was responsible for teaching low brass and low woodwinds the music for their halftime show as well as all the pep tunes each year. Read More
