My teaching experience began while I was in college taking music education coursework and working as a music tutor for a local middle school band program. After graduating in 2013 I have taught more than 300 hours of private music lessons to students of all ages. I have also taught group music lessons, K-6 general music and choir for a homeschool music program in addition to music theory lessons. I am a passionate music teacher who loves the one on one instruction I can provide to students. I taught elementary music in a small town in western Kansas for two years, and had private students in piano, voice, flute, and trumpet. I have taken many courses on teaching and feel confident that I can teach players of any level on clarinet and saxophone. My goal is for students to love the instrument(s) they chose.
