Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Because all students have a unique style of mearning, at any age, I usually choose music that fits the student's ability at that time. If a student has a special request to learn a certain song, we discuss if it will be appropriate for them, or if they have to work up to that level. If students do not have a method book, I will work with them on what is provided or I will find a book that best suits the students needs. My primary instrument is oboe. I have studied with several successful oboists and earned a master's degree in oboe performance from Bowling Green State University, studying with Dr. Nermis Mieses. While earning my degree I took lessons and participated in masterclasses with some of the most successful oboists in the country.
