I have always been involved with anything I can with music, starting by listening to the radio at age 4, to being where I am today. As a 3 year All-Stater, I know how a musical ensemble must be run and how each individual student must be catered to, to get the best possible out of each and every student. My teaching style is positive, encouraging, demonstrative, and (I may have mentioned it before) FUN! Every teacher is looking for the "light bulb" moment. The moment the content really clicks with a student. It always turns on at different moments with each student. I love encouraging my students to never give up. I know what it is like to have a teacher who doesn't care about their student. That will never be the case for me! Read More
