My official experience as a teacher began during my college years in a community school. I would teach mainly young beginners for a couple of years. Later, I only expanded my interest in teaching towards private lessons, as I found fundamental conflicts with my philosophy and the way our culture understands music learning. For piano students I usually use Piano Adventures method books while supplementing with scales, pop and classical repertoire, theory, ear training, history and more. For ukulele and guitar we focus on strumming patterns, rhythm, chords, and repertoire anywhere from rock or pop to classical.
