I'm a dedicated and passionate educator and advocate for the arts, who loves teaching students music. I have been teaching instrumental music on a secondary level for 18 years, I studied Music Education at Morehouse College also Theater Performance at Columbia College, and I currently just completed my Ph.D from the University of Arizona. I like to spend a few minutes getting to know my students, and I always want to set the environment of learning to be as relaxed as possible. I make sure to only teach within the students' expectations, never mine, as students need room to grow at their own pace.
