I am a 21 year old musical performer, educator, and composer residing in New Smyrna Beach. I started playing the Flute when I was 11 and the Saxophone when I was 12. After only a few months of playing both instruments I knew I wanted to study and teach music for a living, so in high school I got involved in multiple music competitions, out-of-school performances, and other extracurriculars. After the past few years of intense practicing and studying in college, Ive had the privilege of playing the Flute in performances with the Orlando Symphony Orchestra, performing Jazz on Saxophone at the Orlando Museum of Art, and frequently attending recording sessions with some of the top musicians in Central Florida. In the first lessons, I explain the the beginner students the basic functionality of the instruments, the proper way to hold the instruments, how to produce a clear sound from the instruments and a Major scale ascending and descending, the one from which the first lessons or the next lessons is written. I have experience teaching since high school, as I was a prominent member of the marching band and was given teaching responsibilities starting my sophomore year in 2014. Since then, I've taught marching band small groups, wind band sectionals, chamber group coachings including brass quintets and saxophone quartets, and some larger chamber groups of woodwind, brass, and percussionists.
