I am a working musician, traveling singer-songwriter, and long-time educator. While at school I focused my education on music and the music industry and building my career as a singer-songwriter. As much as I love to create and share my own music I'm also passionate about teaching others to do the same. I've taught lessons throughout college covering a range of instruments and ages. I began helping my friends work through their music when I was 19 at Missouri Western State University, and eventually cultivated a bustling studio of students through word of mouth. I now teach full time in Zoom and in person with house visits, or at my home studio. Encouraging a regular practice schedule is a key point especially for younger students in progressing and gaining a passion for the instrument. I've discovered offering a balance of classical, and modern music are the best combo for helping students maintain motivation to practice and learn.
