Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I have been playing the clarinet and saxophone for 13 years. I began teaching lessons in high school and have continued teaching since. I went to school at Northern Oklahoma College to obtain my Associates Degree in Music and continued my education at Oklahoma City University where I received a Bachelors Degree in Instrumental Music Education. My teaching experience started 5 years ago. I was a senior in high school and was teaching a beginning student the trombone. Throughout the past 5 years I have continued to teach students when I was able to. I encourage regular practice and maintaining a consistent schedule. I always say 10 minutes a day is better then 30 minutes every 3 days. For younger students a combination or aural learning and written learning are great ways to help them engage and keep an interest. Read More
