Music has always been at the center of my life and has given me so much. My saxophone teacher in high school was an inspiration to me and propelled me into music in college. In college I learned more and more about classical saxophone, and it became my dream to make that my living. Music has been a central part of my life for many years, both as a performer and as an educator. I began my musical journey studying saxophone and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the expressive power of music and its ability to connect people. My academic path has allowed me to explore music from both practical and scholarly perspectives. Read More

These include practice rewards, Band Olympics, ninja karate belts, and Harry Potter themed games. Read More

Students want to practice because they enjoy the progress they are making and look forward to lessons. Read More

For students at any level, I try to see what they are interested in musically and fit time in their development to work on the things that get them excited about music and also help them progress on their instrument.
