During my undergrad I held leadership roles in multiple ensembles which required me to train and teach students of various skill levels and ages. My teaching experience started when I was in high school. Being a son of two teachers I was compelled to become a tutor. I was my first student. Teaching myself how to play the piano and gutiar. My father taught me methods of how to learn and thats what I use to teach. I gained more experience helping people write essays and do home work. My teaching expereince dates back to before I graduated undergraduate school. Since I had a semester to wait for Commencement, I was afforded an opportunity to work as a Teacher assistant, in an Open Classroom Learning Environment. This immediately preceded a very rewarding Student Teaching experience in the rural southern state of North Carolina. I was as challenging an experience as I have ever had being that my travel mileage on some days was as much as 80 miles. Upon my return to New York, I was afforded an opportunity to teach Beginner Band Grades 4,5 and 6, per diem for one year.
