I'm a passionate teacher who loves working with students of all ages and sharing my love for music. I teach general music at an elementary school, but I love teaching private instrumental lessons outside of my primary teaching job. I graduated from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. I started teaching private lessons in college and continued doing so after graduation. I like teaching private lessons because students learn valuable skills and techniques that will help in every aspect of a student's life. Students learn time management, dedication, and work ethic through taking private lessons and I love watching students grow throughout the process. As a music teacher, I have ample experience with students in grades 4-12. My teaching style is completely student centered. I think for a student to be the most successful, they have to have a say in what they want to learn. If the student explains to me what goals they want to reach, I can guide them to obtaining those goals.
