Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. For beginning students with instruments, I like to use the Hal Leonard's Essential Elements and piano, I like to use Alfred's Basic Piano Course Lesson Book and for voice I use FULL VOICE Workbook. I know each student is different and prepared to adjust in any way to meet the student's need. I generally first start with finding out what my student is interested in. I have primarily used Alfred's Basic Piano Library with my younger students but am open to suggestions. I base my selection of each individual student, as long as the core fundamentals are used. I do enjoy the interactive workbooks for younger students, as I've seen repetition has a major effect.
