Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I offer the Suzuki method of teaching for all beginners and pair it with Essentials for Strings to engage music theory into the lessons. As the students progress there are more books to choose and duets to practice Chamber Music and more advanced techniques. For Beginning students who are children, I typically start with the Suzuki Method, and essentials for Strings. After they have graduated and begin reading and understanding the basic concepts of music , and reading we begin to play duets and test of types of music. Read More

First of all, I love the Classical Guitar. I believe it to be one of the most (if not the most) expressive instruments in classical music. I'm originally from Venezuela and I moved to the USA to continue my music studies at Louisiana State University where I got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Cello Performance. I have been teaching cello both in Venezuela and in the United States. I currently work as a cello teacher at Palacios House of Arts, in Baton Rouge.
