For all students we will begin with building the centerpiece of any musician, their tone. We will work on necessary fundamentals to build the students embouchure, as well develop the students technique and skills no matter the level. My saying is to be better than your yesterday. I have taught beginners from scratch, students who need help in band, and also students who are preparing for college auditions. I have played guitar professionally for 15 years, first in the Maryland/DC metro area and for the past 8 years in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. This includes several bands of my own creation that have toured the region as well as dozens of substitute stints filling in for rock, jazz, blues, and pop groups.
