Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

Teaching has always been apart of my career whether on the bandstand, the studio or in the classroom. When i graduated from Grambling State in 2013, i was hired as band director at MLK Jr High School in Ouachita Parish as well as two feeder elementary schools. I believe each student is different and enjoy developing a unique approach for each students. I also tailor the lessons to each students need. I have taught beginners from scratch, students who need help in band, and also students who are preparing for college auditions. For those who are just starting on an instrument, I usually focus on basic technique. Bass and guitar are both physical instruments in their own way, and getting acclimated to the feel of it is key to having success on it. For bass, I typically teach out of the Suzuki book series, while as for guitar, I use the Hal Leonard's Essential Elements, however, I am happy to teach whatever method a student or their parents feel strongly about. I have been teaching in New Orleans and expanding my studio for over four years. I love to meet my students where they are, push them to be the best musician they can be, and support them in achieving their goals. I’ve performed masterclasses for The Romeros as well as other massive names in the Classical Guitar world such as: Martha Masters, Matthew Denman & Matt Palmer.
