I have loved music from a young age and enjoy musical adventures with my students. Every day I find ways to connect a singing tone to work with pianist, singers, and other woodwind performers. I have a quest to understand music at the deepest levels and bring the benefits of Conservatory training and the joy of music festivals to every lesson. I studied bassoon performance, music education classes, woodwind and vocal techniques at the University of Miami with Luciano Magnanini and completed my studies in performance, music history and music composition at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory on a full scholarship with William Winstead and Allan Sapp. Read More

After graduating from there in 2005, I moved to Nashville, TN and began touring the country with local artists. Most of my touring days were as lead guitarist, although sometimes I did take on a more rhythm & acoustic role. It was also in Nashville that I began to learn and love Fingerpicking guitar in the style of Chet Atkins. My main focus at this time in my personal playing is split between fingerpicking and jazz.
