Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. My teaching methods are centered around a structured approach that respects each student's individuality, goals, and learning styles. I have developed a comprehensive guitar learning resource, which I continuously update. This resource is organized into a 1-10 level system, with each level presenting increasingly advanced material. This progression ensures that students are always learning something new and making connections to previously acquired knowledge. For beginning students that are k-12 I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements to align with the public school music curriculum. For those 18+ or hoping to learn an instrument outside of school purposes I highly encourage students to pick out their own repertoire to learn however I'm more than happy to help with the process of choosing music. For those with a base line understanding of music we will still read from various methods books and play some standard repertoire but it will not be the focus of lessons. Read More

I started teaching music as soon as I got involved with playing and performing with other musicians. I payed great detail to how others taught me as I found it to be useful to not only learn how to play music, but to teach myself to play music through observing how others taught me. I work with students of all ages, and every student has their own set of goals.
