Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I find it more awarding to myself and my students develop the passion for music! With this being said, I find it highly important to progress with the student's pace. A senior at the University of Kentucky, Mr. Kay'mon is perusing a bachelor’s in music performance. I continued teaching private lessons, while also conducting a high school youth choir in Chicagoland after moving to IL. After a few years my family and I moved to the greater Cincinnati area where I currently teach as a high school choral and drama teacher while serving as the theatre manager as well. I have a student centered approach to teaching music with research based methods supported by, not only my own experience, but experts in all fields of learning. I have had experiences in tutoring, college group-studies, and leading sectionals in high school band as well as rehearsing church choir where I had the chance to interact with different age-groups ranging from children in elementary school to adults older than my own parents where I tried to determine ways to improve my understanding of teaching and cultivating efficient methods through reflections and advice. During my undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Louisville, I have led sectionals for honor choir and all-state workshops, and prepared the University Chorus and Collegiate Chorale for my recital which have given me some hands-on experience in rehearsing various choirs.
