I have been playing guitar for 13 years. I've been teaching, creating and writing for many years, and also play in a band. My music experience also consists of formal musical education, as well as knowledge of the Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano, Drums and Violin. I played in an orchestra, a marching band, jazz bands, my own bands, and solo. I have good skills with writing and improvising music. I have a more formal music background, but I also have the ability to teach you the concepts of how to channel your inner genius when it comes to music in a simple manner. Read More

My teaching experience begins back in my college years as I initially began teaching beginner piano at an after school program. Since college, I’ve been able to work in public schools around the NYC area, teach privately for several music institutions in Long Island, conducted hundreds of online video lessons, and have also been able to successfully build my own in-home roster of students as well. I like to remind students that in order to be better, they must be proactive, and that’s where practice plays a vital role in the development of any music students are learning. Read More

Watching people learn and grow on the instrument inspires me to keep pushing my limits. Read More

I am a multi-genre cellist who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential as musicians. I have been classically trained since the age of three, and studied classical theory and composition at Harvard University. However, towards the end of my college experience I began to learn jazz and blues and ended up pursuing a Master's degree in Contemporary Performance. I now practice both contemporary and classical equally, and am motivated to see the cello expand its possibilities in the realm of today's music. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my college days, when I was hired as an instructor for Hudson Music Studios. The 8 years that I spent with this institution were a huge part of the person I am today. I learned to be the patient and creative teacher I am today by working alongside professional instructors and teaching a wide range of musical concepts. This exposure provided me with the experience and confidence to pursue a position with Hunterdon Academy of the Arts. Read More
