Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. I cover both the physical skill of creating a musical sound and building a song from its melodic and rhythmic core. In doing this both children and adults are tutored in proper positioning of their hands and bodies to create a comfortable and relaxed posture of playing. I cover a variety of notation methods including tabulature, staff notation and chordal diagrams. I began teaching myself to play Guitar as a teenager and eventually taught myself to play other instruments as well. During this time I would learn all of my favorite songs by ear or with the help of tabs. Once I had started attending the Academy of Contemporary Music I learned more advanced music theory that relates to general music and Guitar.
