I adapt my instructional methods uniquely to each student and the instrument that they'd like to learn. For some instruments, I refer to specific methods that I have experience in. For example, for Piano I would refer to the Suzuki method for young children, while for Euphonium/Baritone and Trombone I would refer to Alfred's Accent on Achievement series. I've received my music degree at San Diego City College in 2014 but I have been musical much much longer than that. I played flute and guitar as a child and later began to perform as a singer and guitarist on stage as an adult. I have performed live over 2000 times in church services, for civic organizers, weddings, BBQs, and parties. I delight in sharing an understanding of performance and songwriting with other artists and students and I am currently working on production of 5 of my original songs. Read More

I first started teaching guitar in high school after i got a few lessons from someone i looked up to in high school. From then on i have loved to teach music to all ages!.
