Next we review the last lesson and then we work on songs or spend a little time improvising in a way that combines what they're hearing in the music they are currently listening to and their past lessons along with new information. In 1977, I graduated from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Performance. In 1999, I was certified to teach Music K-12 by the state of North Carolina after attending NC Central University.
