I've been teaching private lessons on multiple instruments since 2001. I teach beginning thru advanced levels on electric bass, clarinet, and jazz theory. I teach beginning thru intermediate levels on guitar and most other wind band instruments (flute, sax, etc.). I have taught multiple beginning flute and voice students throughout my college career, as well as assisting the music students at Rolling Hills Elementary School in Mukwonago with their head start program. I believe that music can be enjoyed by people of all different ages and experience levels, and I hope to work with students like these that are eager to learn. Read More

By trying to find out what inspires students I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs and get them "fired up" about music. I love to give the student a sense of accomplishment that expands into all areas of their life. Read More

I've been teaching from as early as middle school. I had my first two bassoon students in middle school. Throughout high school I was a teachers assistant to my band and choir directors and frequently led sectionals, class activities or solo lessons. This early teaching experience is what led me to the path of getting my degree and license in music education. Throughout college I had a handful of consistent voice/instrumental students I taught.
