I have experience primarily in Classical and pop music, and I strive to make lessons fun for my students!! (Even when we are learning scales!) I enjoy challenging my students to experiment, explore, and compose their own music. I am always looking for ways to mix lessons up, whether that means playing Musical Twister or listening to music before playing. I am a passionate and committed music instructor and performer.  I have recently completed my second master's degree at the Royal College of Music where I learnt from some of the greatest musicians of our time (i.e. Gareth Davies and Susan Milan) and perform with fantastic orchestras like the London Symphony Orchestra.  As an avid doubler, one who plays multiple instruments usually within the same instrumental family, I perform regularly on the flute, clarinet and saxophone, especially in musical theatre pit orchestras. I'm very passionate about what I do. Music and performance has been apart of my life since before I was born. Learning how to sing at the age of 2, playing instruments and writing songs since 8, and learning to produce and engineer at 15 are some of the things that I am proud of. Every student is different and has there own unique learning style, and I like to be able to structure each lesson to best fit the learning styles of the student. Every student learns and progresses at there own pace, and will adjust to the pace of every individual student.
