I began teaching the flute while at the University of Kentucky as an assistant to my professor Gordon Cole in his flute methods class to music educators. Since then, I have been teaching private lessons to middle and high school students. I do welcome beginners as well as adult students. I believe that teaching students how to practice is essential to their success. I started teaching in band camp the summer after my first year of college and have continuously worked with several schools in KY. I have given lessons to students who are just starting out and high school students preparing for auditions and/other performances.
