During my education I worked with Florida States school of theater and dance. After graduation I landed a job with Holland America Cruise Line being a musician on there number one ship in 2011. With new students taking their 1st lesson, I, with the student, set a realistic long term goal for the year. We then make short term goals to as the steps to take to meet this long term goal. After that I am able to plan my lessons with each student more accurately so that the time per lesson is fully utilized. I have professional experience in show music , big band , contemporary , most of my professional experience is rock,blues and jazz. In 1980 I graduated from the University of Miami School of Music. I have extensive experience as a private and classroom music teacher. I am certified as a K -12 music teacher in the State of Florida.
