As far back as I can remember I've always had a fascination with musical instruments and a deep desire to make music. I have attended a few private music schools in Los Angeles, CA in 1994 and in 1996 which allowed me to hone in my skills. I participate actively in praise and worship teams to the day since 1992. My involvement in the various church communities allowed me to reach out to many who wanted to become part of a music ministry and thus began my journey as a music instructor. Read More

My only reward is seeing one of my students getting better, and developing a passion for music! I will work with each student at their own pace to ensure that they are able to reach realistic goals. I will encourage students to be problem solvers by LISTENING to my instruction, APPLYING what they have heard, and then LEARNING from what they've applied. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and I will do my best to figure out what inspires the student so that i can access my instructions successfully to their needs. I believe reading music is essential to becoming a strong musician so this is something I require all of my students to learn. Read More

I was taking college classes, so I had some free time during school hours, and my school's band director would have me assist him in teaching the younger band classes. I did that for two years, and then I graduated and moved to college, where I began teaching privately at Abbey Road Academy in Jenks, Oklahoma during my junior year of college. Read More
