I have taught group percussion to elementary -aged students and worked with a high school band and percussion ensemble. I have also been a music teacher in the OKC public schools, working with PK through 6th grade. I am certified by the Oklahoma Department of Education in instrumental music for PK-12. My teaching experience started while I was in college, as I began teaching drumline in 2011, and I have been consistently teaching a variety of drumlines and individual students ever since. I encourage students to practice on a consistent basis that way with each lesson the student is progressing. Education and feel are the two most important aspects of music I like to install in my students. I've been a musician for more than ten years, and have performed and taught in a variety of different venues. In 2018, I graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar Performance with a focus on Classical Guitar.
