Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

For beginning students who are children, I typically teach the book that they use in band class. If they/the parents would prefer a specific book or are not in band, I typically use Standard of Excellence, the red book and then progress to the blue book. Once the student understands the fundamentals and has progressed, I then begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I learn of what the student is interested in and then I guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter the ability. Read More

I am a dedicated instructor who has worked with students of all ages and ability levels. My love for music has led me to perform all over the nation and with some of the best bands and saxophonists in the country. My biggest goal in teaching is to help students learn how to enjoy music and approach music from a different perspective. Once a semester when teaching private students, I like to have them pick out their favorite pop song and I'll arrange it for them to play with me in a duet.
