I am a saxophonist originally from Wyoming, but am now located in the greater Dallas - Fort Worth area! I attended the University of Wyoming and received a bachelors in Saxophone Performance in 2016. I then attended the University of North Texas to pursue a masters degree in Jazz Performance (2019). For my beginning students who are children, I typically start with Standard Of Excellence. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.
