I like to set realistic goals based on where you are at vocally and musically. So it's important that we work together to set goals and timelines that make sense for you based on how you progress, as everyone progresses at different speeds. I feel it's so important for you to know when you have breakthroughs and hit your achievements. My lessons are tailored to you and your voice style so your goals will be suited to fit your needs. I believe each student is different. Therefor, lessons should differ depending on each students particular needs, taste in music, and age. I would never treat an adult student like I would a young student and vice versa. I always try to set weekly goals with each of my students in order for them to have something to work towards on a consistent basis. If my students don't reach their weekly goal I simply have a little bit of a review with them in the beginning of the lesson and then proceed with that weeks work. Read More

I try to have a very positive approach to teaching. Instruments: Cello
For beginning students I always make lessons into a game and interest them with funny stories and songs. Once a student has progressed and is genuinly interested in playing cello, I start to study with a more serious repertoir as a easy classical pieces and some popular kid's songs. When student will be ready I will prepare him/her for first recital in family circle or at the school presentation. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I began teaching private lessons part time 8 years ago. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I've also found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the cello and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. Read More
