I am a devoted musician and private lesson instructor in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sharing my love for music with my students is a passion of mine, and I strive to help my students achieve success every day. Music has been a significant part of my life since I was a child, and it's importance has grown as I've gotten older. I started, as many do, in the fifth grade when I started playing the saxophone which I continued on through high school. When I was 13 I started playing the electric guitar, and I would later switch to the classical guitar at 19. For my teaching style, I have a very organic approach. The main goal as a teacher is to develop a passion for the instrument and the music. This is crucial for seeing any development at a decent pace in any student. What happens otherwise is that the student does not want to practice, or practicing without focus.  I wasn't motivated because all I saw was a pile of work in front of me that I couldn't possibly accomplish.  Over time, and after stealing little bits fo information and methods from teachers I never really studied with, I was able to create a practice routine I could do every day, I had enough tools that I could play most anything, and because of that, my enjoyment of music has never been higher.
