I have been capitalizing my love of music with teaching since I was in high school, giving piano and cello lessons to children and adults of all ages and proficiency levels. I enjoy organizing yearly recitals for families and the local community to attend. I was involved with PMEA and the local Schubert Club in my area, participating in festivals, earning a gold cup in two years, and later volunteering with staff while my own students participated in the festivals. I'm very passionate about teaching and love to work with all ages of students. I had a studio in Mountain Top, PA for 25 years until our family moved to Utah. I recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley. I've performed with many orchestras and have coached many students to be able to compete and perform at Carnegie Hall for many years. I started teaching while I was a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University.  I taught part time private lessons and worked for a Saturday Morning music program teaching Strings and Music Theory.  I have taught in public schools for 12 years teaching strings/orchestra to elementary, middle and high school students.  I have taught students individually, in small groups and in large groups and orchestras.  I have adjudicated at competitions and festivals and taught private lessons in violin, cello and viola over the last 20 years.
